Part of the reason I haven’t been keeping up with krazykoolkrap these days is having to manage all the spam comments I am was recieving. Thank God that I found Akismet. Thursday, October 5th, 2006Only in Europe:
In 2007, Opel will launch the Flex-Fix system as an option on its Antara and Corsa models. The system is a retractable two bike rack that slides in-and-out of the bumper. It’s completely concealed and allows users to avoid strapping those bitchy straps everywhere. This needs to be an option on US cars immediately. Write your congress people, or something.

Do they even sell Opel in the US? How can we write congress people on a car that isn’t sold in the US. Oh, should be put this on a Ford? Yeah right! Maybe a Japanese company will take care of making something like this available to us because U.S. car makers are just fucking dumb and never take the initiative to deliver an option like this.

Thursday, October 5th, 2006Retail sales rise sharply in September (AP)
AP - Shoppers, encouraged by cooler temperatures and falling gasoline prices, went on a shopping spree in September, giving many retailers better-than-expected gains and lifting the industry’s spirits two months before the holiday season. A notable exception was Wal-Mart Stores Inc.
Of course you all have read that I have on a number of occasions I visited Walmart to find that they were out of jalapeños but this last weekend’s trip was the kicker. I couldn’t find any celery!?!? WTF Walmart? You had plenty of fresh dill (what????), but no celery. Maybe the "Superstore" idea wasn’t your best.
